PERSONAL BRANDING PHOTOS
Personal branding photography is all about capturing who you are, what you provide and what makes your brand unique. I deliver variety in my branding photo galleries to help you showcase your unique personality and can be used in a variety of ways on your website, social platforms and in other marketing.
In this blog I’m using some branding photos from a shoot I did for professional development coach Yvonne from NPD Coaching to show 5 ways to show your personality in branding photos.
1. SHOW BEHIND THE SCENES
These photos show you at work doing what it is you do. Giving your audience an insight into your day-to day tasks.
2. CHOOSE A LOCATION THAT REPRESENTS YOU
Get creative. Where do you get your best work done? Choosing a location for your photo shoot is important because you will set the tone for your shoot and impact the look and feel of your photos. Yvonne chose a co-working space where we could set up in different locations around the building, including outside space.
Choose locations that are on-brand for your business and don’t be afraid to look for new places that have an atmosphere that can up-level your brand.
3. USE PROPS
Props are one of the best ways to show off your personality. They can be as simple as the tools of your trade (laptop, camera, phone) or fun personal items that you love having in your life! Adding these elements into your photos can give your audience an idea of what it’s like to work with you. Review your brand story when brainstorming props so that you can be sure the items can assist in communicating your message.
4. SHOW YOUR HOBBIES
Personal branding photography is all about showing who you are and what makes your business unique. Showing your audience your hobbies helps them to know, like and trust you.
5. DEFINE YOUR BRAND PERSONALITY
Gaining clarity and confidence in your brand will always be my top tip. Before you have your branding shoot I will ask you to complete a questionnaire which will help you to connect with your audience and showcase what makes your business unique beyond what you sell. Digging deeper into what you do, why you do it and who you do it for.
